Professional Biography

NS Academy was founded by Nuray Sarp Kulkara, a psychologist and psychotherapist with extensive academic training and over 17 years of clinical experience.

Nuray Sarp Kulkara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hacettepe University (Ankara). She completed her clinical psychology training at Istanbul Okan University and earned her Ph.D. from Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa Institute of Forensic Medicine. Her academic education is NACES-accredited.

Throughout her professional career, she has specialized in adult and family-focused therapeutic work, integrating evidence-based approaches into both clinical practice and educational settings. In addition to her clinical work, she has taught at several universities in Turkey and provided clinical supervision to early-career psychologists.

She is an EMDR Europe–accredited psychotherapist, with a strong commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and evidence-informed methodologies.
